Chad and I went to dinner at Grasslands recently. Chad used to work there when it was known as Fressen. The owner, Steve Gardner, rebranded and renovated Fressen as Grasslands and we were excited to see what he did.
We decided to skip the dessert, Cookies and Cream, and so hopefully we can try it next time. I’m also very interested in trying the Popcorn “Chicken” from the Bar Snax menu.
All in all, it was a lovely evening. It is on the pricey side but it’s nice to have a fancy vegan restaurant in Toronto. I want to take my family there the next time they’re in town.
