Watching ~ Chad and I are watching Freaks and Geeks for the first time. I really love the show and don’t now why I waited so long. Why do all the best shows get cancelled? Firefly, My So-Called Life, Arrested Development. *le sigh* As the song goes, only the good die young!
Reading ~ The readings for the free Animal Rights course I’m taking at U of T every Thursday. A few chapters from Zoopolis: A Political Theory of Animal Rights by Sue Donaldson and Will Kymlicka and an essay by David Stzybel called Taking Humanism Seriously”. Interesting stuff!
Thinking About ~ How much fur is being worn in Toronto this winter. It makes me sad and angry. So I’m going to brave the cold and attend the Silent Vigil today at Yonge and Dundas and I’m also going to National Anti-Fur Day on February 9th.
Looking Forward To ~ The Fifth Annual Totally Fabulous Vegan Bake-Off! It’s being put on by the Toronto Vegetarian Association. I got my ticket and plan on stuffing my face with wonderful vegan baked goods. A couple friends have entered too, so I’ll be cheering them on.

I watched the Freaks and Geeks pilot the other day! It was cute. Do you watch Bones? I recognized the main character of Freaks and Geeks as that psychologist “Sweets” from Bones. It was fun to see him as a little kid.
Yes, that’s Sweets! He grew up to be… still a geek on TV. hehehe.
