Thursday was our 3 year anniversary of when we first met. I’ll be honest, I kind of forgot the day of, but Chad remembered while we were walking to Green Earth. So instead of just a regular dinner out, it was special!

Green Earth is probably my favourite vegan restaurant in Toronto. It’s close to us and the food is really good. Even though their website says vegetarian, they have switched their menu to be completely vegan.

To start I really wanted the crispy crescents, which are vegan prawns served with a sweet chilli sauce, but they were out of that so we ordered golden crispy rolls instead. They were good, but I prefer the crescents.

Chad ordered the Harvest Burger with french fries. We were told they have the best french fries and they were pretty dam tasty.

My meal was my FAVOURITE thing to get at Green Earth, Star Delight, which is their rotisserie chick’n covered in a creamy sauce, served with steamed veggies and brown rice. I want it again right now just looking at this picture!

Some other really great items on their menu are the Summer Rolls, Golden Tender Crescents, Green Earth Rotisserie (like Star Delight, but without the creamy sauce), Fettuccine Alfredo, Philly Star and Pho. We usually get their banana split too to share, but we decided to get get a pint of So Delicious Coconut milk ice cream on the way home.

On our way home, we saw the most gorgeous sunset. It was like the sky was on fire! We took some photos, but they did not capture the brilliance of it. Then a man passing by said there was also a rainbow behind us. How incredible is that! It was a wonderful anniversary.
